Paraguay's business environment offers several advantages for international entrepreneurs: low corporate tax (10%), simple company formation (SA or EIRL), no restrictions on foreign ownership, and easy access to the Mercosur market.
The most common business structure is the Sociedad Anonima (SA), which requires at least two shareholders and a minimum capital of approximately USD 1,000. The formation process takes 2-3 weeks and includes registration with the commercial registry, tax authorities, and municipal licenses.
